Sustainability

OUR MISSION

At Darnell Bailey we understand that sustainability is a long-term approach and commitment that is pivotal to be aware of. According to WRAP, unused clothes in wardrobes are worth £30 billion , and through the myriad of clothes being produced yearly, this is expected to rise exponentially within the next decades. As a start-up brand, this deplorable statistic urges us to build upon sustainability from the start to have the best impact for our future.

Through deep passions for improvement, we have realised a crucial reasoning to why products are being thrown away which is due to poor quality. As a result, we plan to invest into sourcing organic, recycled and regenerative materials in order to improve the quality of our garments without moving away from our stylistic approach to garment creation. This allows for the life span of the products we create to last for a prolonged period of time and therefore being of benefit to our customers and the environment.

Through the ethos of our brand reflecting improvement, we intend to upload yearly statistics regarding how sustainable improvements have been made, which allows us all remain together on the road to achieving a more sustainable environment within the foreseeable future.
